Course Description

Let's face it, parenting is hard. Babies are born without a manual and parents are left to figure out what to do based on what they liked and didn't like about how they were raised. Sometimes parents feel judged by other parents, sometimes professionals don't understand what the parent is feeling, and sometimes parents aren't sure what their kids should and should not be doing, and what is appropriate for their ages.

This series of courses was created to help parents learn more about what to expect from their children and what changes to expect at certain ages. Any professional who works with children will tell you that some of the biggest changes occur in the earliest years of a child's life, and sometimes it's hard to see progress and set backs clearly. Dr. Jodi Mullen and Ashley Lawton are both parents. They have worked with children for over 30 years combined and have a lot of experience seeing children grow developmentally. They want to help you learn what you can expect as your child grows up!

They hope to help you learn more about what is appropriate at certain ages, what are red flags to keep an eye on, and how you can best support your child, how you can be kind to yourself, and how you can create a positive relationship together! The second course in the series is their discussion about ages 9 - 11. Enjoy!
