Welcome!
This series is dedicated to the topic of Child Development through the ages of 3 - 11. Each part covers the specified age group and the presenters offer insight into what clinicians can expect, be aware of, and provide information that is crucial in parent consultations. The presenters normalize the emotional, social, and physical development that kids experience and make it accessible for use with parents in the toughest consultations! You will hear examples from the presenters' experiences as parents and play therapists. In each part of the series, you will:
1) Gain knowledge about the emotional, social, and physical development children ages 6-8 experience
2) Create a foundation for handling developmental challenges in session with children ages 6-8
3) Acquire tools necessary for communicating developmental norms and red flags to parents of children ages 6-8
