Play Therapy Challenges

Want to hear how seasoned play therapists would handle some complicated and sometimes uncomfortable play therapy scenarios? We have two experienced play therapists here to answer your challenges! In this course, the presenters will address common challenges that they have or their students & supervisees have encountered in play therapy relationships. They discuss boy specific and general challenges, and most importantly, perhaps, how to handle these challenges.
Objectives:
1) Participants will learn how to handle a minimum of five challenges that play therapists are likely to encounter in the therapeutic playroom.
2) By the end of the course, participants will be able to categorize the main challenges they can expect to face in the therapeutic playroom.
3) Participants will learn a minimum of two strategies for maintaining their therapeutic composure when challenges arise in play therapy sessions.
